Myelopathy

Myelopathy refers to dysfunction of the spinal cord, usually caused by compression in the neck or upper spine. It can affect balance, coordination, and fine motor skills. Patients may notice clumsiness in the hands or difficulty walking. Symptoms often progress gradually over time. Surgery is commonly recommended to prevent worsening.
