Preparing for surgery is easier when you know what to expect. Each patient packet is written for one procedure and is meant to be printed or saved to your phone before your surgery, so you have it at home afterward.

Every packet includes:

• About your surgery: what the operation is, why it’s done, how it’s performed and what recovery looks like
• After your surgery: incision care, medicines, activity limits, and when to call our office or 911
• Our 24/7 Virtual Assistant: how to get answers to common questions any time, day or night

You’ll also get a one-page Surgery Day Guide for the hospital or surgery center where your operation is scheduled. It covers where to check in, what to bring and parking.
