Cervical radiculopathy

Cervical radiculopathy is caused by compression or irritation of a nerve root in the neck. This can result in pain that radiates into the shoulder, arm, or hand. Patients may also experience numbness, tingling, or weakness. It is often caused by disc herniation or arthritis. Many cases improve without surgery, but some require intervention.
